Inter-School Track and Field Meet
Using a soccer field, football field and/or sand volleyball court area.
On grass (40 meter x 100 meter grass area); no starting blocks, and no spikes.
3-Point Start for running is acceptable.
- 40 Yard Dash
- 60 Meter Dash (external link)
- 60 Meter Hurdles (five hurdles) (external link)
- 200 Meter run (more than one-turn) [Note: on a rectangular run]
- 300 Meter run (more than two-turns) [Note: on a rectangular run]
- 400 Meter run (more than two-turns) [Note: on a rectangular run] [more than one lap on a 300 meter long “track”]
- “Standing” Long Jump (external link)
- “Standing” Triple Jump (external link)
- “Standing” Shot Put (external link) [Note: safety first]
- “Standing” Discus [Note: safety first]
Side Note: One turn might be worth 0.2 to 0.5 seconds over a straight away run.
Note: The “Standing” Long Jump and “Standing” Triple Jump can also be
performed on a sand volleyball court or basketball court.
